Our association has been invited to the annual congress of the Magistratura Democratica, one of the most prestigious judicial associations in Italy. In the international section of the event in Naples, Anna Madarasi, alongside other MEDEL members, presented our association and spoke about the current issues affecting the Hungarian judiciary and Hungarian judges. The event was opened by the President of the Senate of the Republic of Italy, who stressed the importance of the existence of judicial associations and the Deputy Minister of Justice also welcomed the event in his speech. The programme of the conference was extremely interesting including presentations by eminent figures from the academic scene, and several round tables on current professional and judicial management issues, and on the constitutional situation of the Superior Council of Magistracy with the participation of Italian judges and prosecutors.
