(English) Recommendations on Fight against Hate Speech

Sajnos ennek a bejegyzésnek csak English nyelvű változata van.

The Political Capital (which is a Hungarian NGO) together with its project partners has been working on issues regarding hate speech for two years in the framework of the EU co-funded project CHAD – Countering Hate Speech and Hurtful Speech against Diversity: Roma, LGBTIQ, Jewish and Migrant Communities. As a result of national and international conferences, workshops and a 10-session working group process, two sets of proposals for tackling hate speech were developed.

In the international package, they made 40 recommendations to the EU institutions, EU Member States, international civil society and the media:

Res Iudicata has participated in the whole project, and our proposals and comments have been implemented in the recommendations.

We are convinced that the implementation of these recommendations would significantly reduce prejudice and prejudice-based manifestations at national and international level, contributing to more peaceful and inclusive societies.

The participants of the project are eagerly awaiting any thoughts on the recommendations.
